The Headquarters of the Egyptian house of zakat and charities

A competition proposal for the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House headquarters, drawing on courtyards, patterned screens, and a monumental pointed entrance.

The design shows three civic-institutional precedents: a stone courtyard complex, a contemporary block wrapped by a large Islamic-pattern screen, and a tall warm-toned headquarters with a monumental pointed entrance.
